Shelters are all around us. Homes, clothing, vehicles… There are tax shelters, hurricane shelters, animal shelters, etc… Our families can be considered shelters from loneliness. We need shelters to either protect us or simply provide comfort from the difficulties in this world.
The Shelter is a celebration of the greatest shelter we have. This shelter is God. He cares about our needs… all of them. He also provides for our needs in every way that we experience. Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This is a unique way to think about God. It is positive and encouraging.
