I was born in St. Augustine, Florida 1965 and have always lived here (apart from a couple of doses of schooling). Speaking of school, I graduated from U.N.F. in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I then became a Christian in 1990. I married Julie in 1994 and instantly became a step dad of Anthony (8), and Nicole (5). Later, Julie was able to have our one child together, James, in 1997. After struggling to earn a living and find joy and purpose in working with computers I had the opportunity to join the staff at my church in 2001. This was a huge step in personal fulfillment for me. Over the next five years I grew in my love for God and people and having that be the central part of my life as a staff minister. During this time I also found that there was a longing in my heart that I just couldn't seem to fill. I had so many questions about ministry. In fact, most of them were questions that I could not properly ask. and when I tried the answers were never very satisfying. This desire drove me/us to pack our bags and head for St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Theological Seminary. There I found some excellent instruction and mentoring as well as opportunities to serve in St. Louis. The story has continued in a life of walking with Jesus and a bunch of precious people around me.

- Former staff member at Good News Church in St. Augustine, Florida and Central Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, Mo. and River Oaks - -- Community Church in St. Augustine, Florida.
