Knots

Four basic knots: This is more than you need to get started.

Clinch Knot: Basic knot for line to lure or hook. You could get by with this one all the time. When tying with braid, pass the line through the tackle twice before tying the knot.

Loop Knot: This is for a lure that needs to move, such as a walk the dog type surface plug.

Uni Knot: Great for when you have a break in your braid and you want to repair it. I have had done this a bunch (because of wind knots) and have had great performance.

FG Knot: A little more advanced but highly recommended for tying your mono leader to your braid main line.
